WaKeeney Public Library
Description
We will be kicking off our Summer Library Program with some fun activities with Ryan Engel from the K-State extension office.  Kids have loved Ryan's presentations the last two years about Bee's and Butterflies.  This year he'll teach us about flowers and plants  Head to our website https://wakeeney.nwkls.org to download the registration form. You can email the completed form to director@wakeeneypubliclibrary.org or bring it to the library at 610 Russell Avenue.  This free program is geared to kids from pre-school to 2nd grade, but all kids and parents are welcome to attend.  Registered children will receive a colorful drawstring backpack to carry their checked-out library books.  Other great workshops include Stories and Fingerprint Art with Alex Baker from the Trego County Sheriff's office on June 5th, activities with Kady Howard from Smoky Hills Public Television on June 12th, an "Arty Party" with our librarians on June 19th, and a musical show with Jammin' Randy Sauer on June 26th.  See you this summer!
